Tom Swavely
Chief Development Officer
Tom has devoted his more than 40-year career to ensuring that patients have access to quality physical therapy rehabilitation care, most recently through new clinic development as a senior vice president for a large, multi-state outpatient rehabilitation provider and, before that, as a senior regional vice president of operations for that company. Tom started his career with Penn State University’s Hershey Medical Center developing the sports medicine and athletic training outreach programs for Hershey, Pennsylvania’s professional hockey team, local high schools and community sports teams. Tom has also been a co-owner of a physical therapy practice with centers in south central Pennsylvania and CEO of an 85-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital with seven outpatient clinics. Tom completed his undergraduate education at Juniata College and his physical therapy training at Hahnemann University Hospital through Drexel University. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and adult children and hiking with his golden retriever. He is an avid fly-fisherman.
