Amy Foerster

General Counsel and Secretary

Amy has been practicing law for more than 25 years in a variety of settings, most recently as a litigation partner with one of the country’s largest law firms. Valuing the opportunity to grow her career through experience in public and private settings, Amy has served as counsel for an executive agency under the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel and as a Senior Deputy Attorney General for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. She also spent several years as general counsel and chief of staff to the president at Bucknell University. Through LHMPTI’s support of the LHM Hospice and Social Services Foundation, Amy serves as the Foundation’s CEO, leveraging her prior experience working and volunteering in the nonprofit sectorAmy has a bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a juris doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and their dogs, and encouraging her young adult children as they pursue their education and career goals.
